Founded in 2021, the Chicago Historical Costume Society is a group of sewists and historical costume enthusiasts. We welcome members from the Midwest and beyond at all skill levels. Join us for monthly events, both virtual and in-person, celebrating all aspects of historical costumery.

The DFW Costumers Guild is a group of costume enthusiasts from the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Since 2006, we’ve hosted events, workshops, and sewing days focusing on historical, sci-fi, fantasy, and pop culture costuming. Join us for fun, creativity, and community!

Our organization represents men and women in the 6th NH Regiment during the American Civil War. Although based in Northern NJ, at the Long Pond Ironworks State Park, we welcome people who have an interest in the time period and history of our unit.

Costumer’s Guild West, Inc. (CGW) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the art of costuming. We welcome all levels and styles, from novices to masters, in a safe, supportive environment. Based in Southern California, we offer lectures, workshops, tours, and host Costume College®, our annual three-day conference on all things costuming.

The Footwork and Frolick Society is a Massachusetts-based 501(c)3 non-profit that recreates 18th and 19th-century dance and social activities. We make local history accessible in a fun, hands-on way. Historical clothes are admired but not required.
